Made in the USA, Nordfab SD automatic blast gates operate via compressed air cylinders controlled by an electrically connected solenoid, requiring a 120V control circuit and a minimum air pressure of 75psi, with optional 24V DC or AC control circuits available. The single cylinder models accommodate sizes from 3” to 8”, while the two-cylinder models range from 9” to 22”. The Quick-Fit ductwork components feature a rolled edge for easy connection to other components using a barrel-type clamp, which includes a specially designed gasket that ensures a tight seal. Installation is straightforward, eliminating the need for rivets, screws, or welding, thereby reducing installation and downtime by more than 45% compared to traditional flanged ductwork.
