Made in the USA, Nordfab duct elbows, also known as bends, facilitate changes in airflow direction within duct lines. Standard Nordfab QF elbows are offered in angles of 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30°, and can be made from either galvanized or stainless steel, with quick-fit rolled ends. The galvanized QF elbows in sizes ranging from 3" to 7" are constructed using press-formed halves that are stitch welded together, while sizes from 8" to 24" are segmented (gored). Stainless steel QF elbows are available in sizes from 3" to 6" in a tubed form. Heavier gauge elbows can be produced in solid welded construction for an additional charge, and options for longer radiuses and 16 gauge are also available. For applications that are highly abrasive or located in high wear areas within the duct line, the Nordfab XD elbows can be utilized in 14 gauge or 12 gauge for reduced wear and frequency of replacements. The Quick-Fit ductwork features a rolled edge on the ends for easy connection using a barrel-type clamp, which includes a specially designed gasket for a tight seal. This design allows for quick and simple assembly without the need for special tools. Additionally, the telescoping Quick-Fit adjustable nipple provides flexibility in installation without precise measurements. The ducting systems are easy to uninstall and relocate as needed, and can be cleaned and re-installed without tools.
