Made in the USA, Nordfab duct elbows, also known as bends, facilitate airflow direction changes in duct lines and are available in 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° angles. These standard Nordfab QF elbows can be made from galvanized or stainless steel (specify if stainless steel is required), featuring quick-fit rolled ends. The galvanized QF elbows in sizes 3"-7" are constructed from press-formed halves that are stitch-welded together, while QF elbows ranging from 8"-24" are segmented (gored). For stainless steel options, sizes 3"-6" are tubed, and heavier gauges can be provided in solid welded construction at an additional cost. There are options for longer radiuses and 16-gauge materials as well, and for applications with high abrasion or wear, Nordfab XD elbows in 14 gauge or 12 gauge are available to minimize replacement frequency and costs. The Quick-Fit ductwork system features rolled edges for easy connection using a barrel-type clamp, with a specially designed gasket that seals joints tightly, allowing for quick assembly without special tools. The telescoping Quick-Fit adjustable nipple further simplifies installation by eliminating the need for precise measurements. This system is designed for rapid installation, reducing downtime by over 45% compared to traditional flanged ductwork. Additionally, Quick-Fit ducting is re-usable and can be easily uninstalled, relocated, cleaned, and re-installed without tools.
