Made in the USA, Nordfab duct elbows, also known as bends, facilitate airflow direction changes in duct lines and are available in standard 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° angles, constructed from either galvanized or stainless steel (specify if stainless steel). The Quick-Fit (QF) elbows in sizes ranging from 3" to 7" feature press-formed halves that are stitch-welded together, while sizes 8" to 24" are segmented (gored). Stainless steel QF elbows in sizes 3" to 6" are tubed, and options for heavier gauges in solid welded construction are available at an additional cost. For applications prone to abrasion or high wear, Nordfab XD elbows are obtainable in 14 gauge or 12 gauge to minimize replacement frequency and cost. The Quick-Fit system features rolled edges on the ends for easy clamping to other components using barrel-type clamps, with a specially designed gasket that ensures a tight seal. This design eliminates the need for special tools, allowing for quick assembly, while the telescoping Quick-Fit adjustable nipple simplifies installation without precise measurements. The system significantly reduces installation and downtime by over 45% compared to flanged ductwork, is reusable for relocation as requirements change, and allows for easy cleaning and reinstallation without tools.
