Made in the USA, Nordfab duct elbows, also known as bends, facilitate directional changes in airflow within duct lines. Standard Nordfab QF elbows come in angles of 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30°, and are available in galvanized or stainless steel (specify if stainless steel), featuring quick-fit rolled ends. The galvanized QF elbows in sizes 3"-7" are constructed from press-formed halves that are stitch welded together, while sizes 8"-24" use a segmented (gored) design. Stainless steel QF elbows in sizes 3"-6" are made from tubed material, and options for heavier gauges can be supplied in solid welded construction for an additional cost. These elbows can also be ordered with longer radii and in 16 gauge for specific applications. For environments subject to high abrasion or wear, Nordfab offers XD elbows in either 14 gauge or 12 gauge to minimize the frequency and expense of replacing worn elbows. Nordfab's Quick-Fit ductwork features a design that enables easy connection using a barrel-type clamp with a rolled edge, allowing installers to quickly assemble components without special tools. The system streamlines installation, reducing downtime by over 45% compared to traditional flanged ductwork, and the ducting is reusable, making it simple to uninstall and relocate as needed. Additionally, Quick-Fit ducting is designed for easy cleaning, allowing for the removal, cleaning, and reinstallation without the use of tools.
