Made in the USA, the Nordfab Quick-Fit Adjustable Nipple, also referred to as an adjustable sleeve, is designed to provide variable length adjustments in ducting lines of QF pipe. The kit includes a black O-ring, with the option to specify a red O-ring for higher temperature applications at an additional cost. The adjustable nipple features laser-welded seams and utilizes a rolled edge on the ends, allowing for easy connection to other components with a barrel-type clamp. A specially designed gasket inside the clamp ensures a tight seal at the joint. This system allows for quick and simple installation without the need for rivets, screws, or welding, reducing installation time and downtime by over 45% compared to traditional flanged ductwork installation. It is also re-usable, making it easy to uninstall and relocate as needs change, and facilitates easy cleaning, as it can be removed, cleaned, and re-installed without the use of tools.
