The A421 series controls are single stage, low-voltage electronic temperature controls equipped with a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) output relay, designed for managing a diverse range of single-stage refrigeration or HVAC equipment. They operate within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 212°F. The A421GEF-01C model features a Type 4X (NEMA) IP66 watertight, corrosion-resistant enclosure, suitable for surface mounting, and is rated for 24 VAC Class 2, safety extra low voltage. The kit includes an A99BB-25C PTC temperature sensor with a standard 2 in. probe and 9-7/8 in. PVC cable. Notable features of the control include a front panel LCD, basic and advanced programming menus, on/off temperature adjustment, switch-activated temperature setback, adjustable anti-short cycle delay, adjustable sensor offset, optional restricted adjustment mode, and a sensor failure mode.
