This heavy-duty drum, pail, or barrel pail heater is crafted with two extra-thick layers of 20 mil fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber, ensuring excellent strength, durability, and flexibility. It is designed to prevent freezing, control viscosity, and maintain materials at elevated temperatures for both indoor and outdoor applications. The patented 360° grounded, multi-stranded heating element, compliant with NEC 427.23, is uniformly placed to enhance heat distribution, providing an extra-wide 4" coverage area. This moisture and chemical resistant heater features an adjustable thermostat control that displays temperatures in °F and °C, a spring and hook closure expandable up to 3", and a 6' L power cord. It exhibits a dielectric strength of over 2000 volts with a maximum exposure temperature on the heating surface of 450°. The heater operates at 250 watts and 2.08 amps, fits steel drums with an 18-5/8" diameter, and has an adjustable thermostat operating range of 50-160°F. The 120V model is equipped with a standard 3-prong NEMA 5-15 plug.
