The BG3636 roof hatch is designed with OSHA life safety in mind and provides easy access to roof areas. It features a simple installation and operation process. The hatch's curb is constructed from 14-gauge galvanized steel, while the lid is also made from 14-gauge galvanized steel and is equipped with a gas spring to facilitate ease of opening. Both the lid and curb include 1" thick rigid insulation as a standard feature. The BG3636 also incorporates a continuous gasket to ensure weathertightness, and its standard finish is red oxide powder coat.
