The FD 8730HS High Security Paper & Optical Media Shredder is a combination high security shredder designed for the destruction of paper and optical media, compliant with NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 for high security cross-cut shredding and NSA/CSS Specification 04-02 for optical media destruction. This shredder efficiently handles top secret and classified materials, shredding up to 2,000 CDs per hour into 1/16" x 5/32" particles and up to 15 sheets of paper simultaneously at a speed of 23 feet per minute, producing 1/32" x 3/16" particles. The unit includes an EvenFlow™ automatic internal oiling system that lubricates the cutting heads during operation, along with an all-metal cabinet featuring casters, steel gearing, and lifetime guaranteed waste bins.
