The Jet-designed certified Meehanite® casting features enhanced ribbing for improved rigidity and tolerance retention, while the swing-away control box houses an emergency stop and centralizes all controls for the operator's convenience. The innovative machine base design allows for leveling without needing to raise the mill off the floor. An automatic oiler delivers 3 to 6 cc/cy of lubrication every 30 minutes, and safety is enhanced with a heavy-duty spindle brake that stops the spindle and cuts power to prevent accidental start-ups. The electrical box, relocated to the back, provides two 115V outlets for powered accessories, and the machine is CSA/CUS certified. Class 7 spindle bearings support the spindle for maximum rigidity during heavy cutting, and the spindle head is internally cooled to extend the life of bearings, belts, and the motor.
