The machine features a Jet designed certified Meehanite® casting with enhanced ribbing for improved rigidity and tolerance retention, while an automatic oiler releases 3 to 6 cc/cy of lubrication every 30 minutes to ensure smooth operation. It includes a swing away control box that houses an E-stop and provides easy access to controls, enhancing user safety. The heavy-duty spindle brake prevents accidental start-ups by stopping the spindle and interrupting power. The electrical box, located at the back of the mill, contains two 115V outlets for powered accessories. The machine is CSA/CUS certified and equipped with Class 7 spindle bearings for maximum rigidity in heavy cutting applications. The spindle head is internally cooled to prolong the life of bearings, belts, and motors. Both the table and ways are hardened up to 54 HRC and precision ground for accuracy, while the X and Y-axis are coated with Turcite-B to reduce vibration and ensure smooth movements. Additional features include a swing away safety shield, LED work lamp, chip pan, dual locks on all movable surfaces, way covers, a drawbar, and a toolbox with tools. Specifications include a digital readout (Acu-Rite 200S), two axes, power feed on the X-axis, and a pneumatic power drawbar. The spindle taper measures R-8, with a table size of 9" x 49". Quill diameter is 3-3/8" with variable spindle speeds ranging from 60 to 4,500 RPM, and quill down feed rates of .0015, .003, and .006 IPR. Spindle travel is 5", with head movement capability of 90° right and left, and 45° forward and backward. The maximum distance from the spindle to the table is 20-3/4", while the distance from spindle to column varies from a minimum of 4-3/4" to a maximum of 18-1/8". The collet capacity is 1/8" to 7/8", with a table longitudinal travel of 36" (30-3/4" with power feed) and a table cross travel of 12-5/8". The T-slots number three, each measuring 5/8" with T-slot centers at 2-1/2".
