Constructed using the Meehanite® casting process, the JTM-1050EVS2/230, 10" x 50" electronic variable speed milling machine provides consistent and reliable operation. The newly designed column and base incorporates a rigid, robust design that is easily leveled without lifting the machine. Jet mills feature a Jet designed certified Meehanite® casting with enhanced ribbing for rigidity and tolerance retention, a swing away control box with an E-stop for easy operator access, and an innovative machine base design for leveling without raising the mill. It includes an automatic oiler that releases 3 to 6 cc/cy of lubrication at adjustable intervals, a heavy-duty spindle brake for enhanced safety, and a relocated electrical box with two 115V outlets for powered accessories. Certified by CSA/CUS, it has Class 7 spindle bearings for maximum rigidity in heavy cutting applications, an internally cooled spindle head for extended bearing, belt, and motor life, and a hardened and precision ground table and ways up to 54 HRC for greater accuracy. The X and Y-axis are coated with Turcite-B for reduced vibration and smooth movements, and it features a swing away safety shield, LED work lamp, chip pan, dual locks on all movable surfaces, way covers, drawbar, and a toolbox with tools. The specifications include a Newall DP700 digital readout, three-axis knee operation, X-axis power feed, pneumatic power draw bar, R-8 spindle taper, a table size of 10 x 50 inches, a quill diameter of 3-3/8 inches, variable spindle speeds ranging from 60 to 4,500 RPM, and a quill dow.
