The HM484 commercial battery box is an effective battery storage solution designed specifically for Group 8D batteries, suitable for marine, RV, and commercial equipment applications. It includes a four-corner fastening system for easy installation, large cable entry holes accommodating heavy gauge wires up to 4/0 AWG, a large internal reservoir to collect battery acid, and full flow ventilation to release battery gases. The battery box features a rugged, rotationally molded design that ensures durability and protection in low-temperature environments while guarding against UV, oil, gas, and other contaminants. It is ideal for installation in boats, campers, motorhomes, trailers, caravans, as well as in commercial and generator equipment. The product meets the Coast Guard (USCG) code of federal regulations 183.420 and complies with the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) E-10.7 standards.
