The Master Lock thermoplastic safety padlock is designed specifically for lockout/tagout applications and features a robust 1-3/8in (35mm) wide thermoplastic orange body that stands 1-7/8in (48mm) tall, with a 1-1/2in (38mm) shackle clearance. Its marine grade 316 stainless steel shackle, with a diameter of 3/16in (5mm), provides superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for corrosive environments. The durable lock body is lightweight and is engineered to withstand chemicals and extreme temperatures while remaining UV stable. This padlock features a high-security, reserved-for-safety cylinder with a non-key retaining mechanism to prevent accidental unlocking. It includes English write-on "Danger" and "Property of" labels, with 14 language options available for global identification, as well as a S142 photo identification label for immediate user recognition. The padlock design complies with OSHA guidelines of one employee, one lock, one key and incorporates a 6-pin tumbler for added security.
