The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater, manufactured in the USA by Combustion Research, is a 100,000 BTU power vented system featuring a 3.5" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas. This pre-engineered, gas-fired unitary power vented system is designed for a 30' straight configuration and offers energy savings of 30-50% compared to conventional heating systems. Each package includes a powder-coated aluminized steel burner, standard bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. It is suitable for a variety of commercial and industrial applications, including aircraft hangers, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The heater is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty of three years on ignition controls and electrical components and ten years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes, laws, and regulations and should be performed by an HVAC contractor qualified in the installation and service of gas-fired heating equipment.
