Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss areas or spot heating, offering fuel savings of up to 50%. They feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber, with emitter tubes constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are conveniently located at the same end of the heater. The unit includes reliable direct spark ignition, 100% gas shut-off safety control, and supports up to 40 feet of ducting in fresh air or sidewall venting capability. The blower, which is situated inside the burner box, operates at a noise level of less than 60 dB, making it ideal for applications requiring minimal sound. The heavy-duty, permanently lubricated, and ball-bearing blower motor ensures maintenance-free operation. Additional features include highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, a burner inspection sight glass, and a diagnostic monitoring light system. The unit requires a 120V supply and can operate with an external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation.
