The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater is the original dry tube gas-fired system manufactured in the US by Combustion Research, featuring a powerful 175,000 BTU power vented system with a 4" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas. It is a pre-engineered, gas-fired, unitary power vented system, also known as a positive pressure or push-through system, designed for a 40' straight configuration. Each system includes a powder-coated aluminized steel burner, bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. This heater is suitable for various commercial and industrial applications, including aircraft hangars, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, commercial applications, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The product is CSA certified and carries a limited warranty of three years on ignition controls and electrical components, and ten years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes, laws, and regulations and should only be performed by HVAC contractors qualified in the installation and service of gas-fired heating equipment.
