The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater is a high-performance, dry tube gas-fired system manufactured in the USA by Combustion Research. This 50,000 BTU power-vented system features a 3.5" OD emitter tube and operates on natural gas, offering a 30' straight configuration. The energy-efficient design results in energy savings of 30-50% compared to conventional heating systems. Each system includes a powder-coated aluminized steel burner, bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulator, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. It is suitable for various commercial and industrial applications, including aircraft hangars, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The heater is CSA certified and backed by a limited warranty: three years on ignition controls and electrical components, and ten years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes, laws, and regulations and should only be performed by an HVAC contractor qualified in the installation and service of gas-fired heating equipment.
