The Serengeti-IR™ Residential Radiant Infrared Tube Heater is the original dry tube gas-fired system manufactured in the US by Combustion Research, featuring a 55,000 BTU power vented system with a 3.5" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas. The pre-engineered gas-fired unitary power vented system is designed for a 20 feet straight configuration and offers energy savings of 30-50% over conventional heating systems. The package includes a powder coated aluminized steel burner with a 3 ft power cord and a 3 prong plug, bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. This heater is suitable for residential garages and a wide range of commercial and industrial applications such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, hangars, loading docks, workshops, fire stations, barns, and more. The unit carries CSA certification and has a limited warranty of one year on ignition controls and electrical components, along with a 10-year warranty on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes and be conducted by a qualified HVAC contractor. This product is made in the USA.
