The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater is the original dry tube gas-fired system manufactured in the US by Combustion Research. It features a 175,000 BTU power vented system with a 4" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas and comes pre-engineered as a gas-fired unitary power vented system, also known as positive pressure or push-through systems, in a 40' straight configuration. This heater provides energy savings of 30-50% over conventional heating systems. The package includes a powder coated aluminized steel burner, standard bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. It is suitable for various commercial and industrial applications, including aircraft hangars, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, steel warehousing, greenhouses, swimming pools, and more. The heater is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty of three years on ignition controls and electrical components, and ten years on radiant tubes. Installation must be performed in accordance with local codes, laws, and regulations by an HVAC contractor qualified to install and service gas-fired heating equipment.
