The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater is a power vented system designed for efficiency and durability, featuring a 50,000 BTU capacity and a 3.5" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas. This pre-engineered, gas-fired unitary power vented system comes in a 10-foot U-configuration package. It includes a powder coated aluminized steel burner, bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (U.S. only), and two reflector end caps. The heater is suitable for various commercial and industrial applications, including aircraft hangers, large warehouses, animal confinement areas, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. It is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty of three years on ignition controls and electrical components, and 10 years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes, laws, and regulations, and should only be performed by an HVAC contractor qualified in gas-fired heating equipment.
