The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater is the original dry tube gas fired system manufactured in the US by Combustion Research. It features a 200,000 BTU power vented system with a 4" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas, designed as a pre-engineered, gas fired, unitary power vented (also known as positive pressure or push through) system with a 40' U-configuration. The heater includes a powder coated aluminized steel burner, standard bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. It is suitable for commercial and industrial applications such as aircraft hangars, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The product is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty: three years on ignition controls and electrical components, and 10 years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes, laws, and regulations, performed only by an HVAC contractor qualified in the installation and service of gas fired heating equipment.
