The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater is a 175,000 BTU power vented system featuring a 4" OD emitter tube, designed to operate on natural gas. Recognized as the original dry tube gas-fired system manufactured in the US by Combustion Research, this pre-engineered, gas-fired unitary power vented system, also known as a positive pressure or push-through system, comes in a 15' U-configuration package. It offers energy savings of 30-50% compared to conventional heating systems. Each system is equipped with a powder-coated aluminized steel burner, bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. Suitable for a variety of commercial and industrial applications, the heater is often used in settings such as aircraft hangars, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The unit is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty of three years on ignition controls and electrical components, and ten years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes, laws, and regulations, and should be performed by an HVAC contractor qualified in the installation and service of gas-fired heating equipment.
