The Omega II® Commercial Radiant Infrared Tube Heater is a gas-fired system manufactured in the U.S. by Combustion Research, featuring a 100,000 BTU power vented design. It incorporates a 3.5" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas and is a pre-engineered, unitary power vented system, also known as a positive pressure or push-through system, available in a 15' U-configuration package. The system delivers energy savings of 30-50% compared to traditional heating systems. Included in the package are a powder-coated aluminized steel burner, standard bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (U.S. only), and two reflector end caps. It is suitable for a variety of commercial and industrial applications, including aircraft hangers, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, commercial applications, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The heater is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty of three years on ignition controls and electrical components, and ten years on radiant tubes. It is crucial that installation follows local codes, laws, and regulations, and is performed by a qualified HVAC contractor experienced in gas-fired heating equipment.
