The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack add-on units are specifically designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually instead of being transported on a pallet, accommodating light to medium loads. Each kit includes one upright frame and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames feature punched holes on 2" centers to facilitate easy beam adjustment, helping to eliminate down aisle growth and maximize space utilization. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame with two U safety pins, enhancing safety and stability. The components of the bulk rack, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process that utilizes electro-chemical technology, offering superior anti-corrosion protection with consistent layer thickness, thus ensuring durability against wear and tear in a warehouse environment. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is capable of hand-loading medium to heavy loads and accommodates a variety of products, with multiple steel decks spanning across the beams to create a flat loading surface. These units ensure easy assembly and are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
