The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. The kit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels, featuring bulk rack upright frames that are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustments to eliminate down aisle growth and wasted space. The orange bulk rack beams are mounted to the frame and secured with two U safety pins, ensuring additional security and stability. The components (beams and uprights) undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, providing anti-corrosion protection, even layer thickness, and enhanced durability against everyday wear and tear in a warehouse environment. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is specifically designed for hand loading medium to heavy loads with various products, and multiple steel decks span across the beam load to form a flat loading surface. Extending the bulk rack system is made easy by ordering Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking, and the units offer simple assembly.
