The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually rather than transported on a pallet. This bulk rack storage system is suitable for light to medium loads and includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment, helping to eliminate down aisle growth and wasted space. The orange bulk rack beams are mounted to the frame and secured with two U safety pins, providing additional security and stability. The starter components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and durability against everyday wear and tear in warehouse environments. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is designed for hand loading medium to heavy loads, accommodating a variety of products with multiple steel decks spanning across the beam load to create a flat loading surface. Extending the length of the bulk rack system is easy by ordering Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking. The units feature simple assembly and are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI) certified.
