The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are specifically designed for storage areas where goods are manually handled rather than transported on pallets, catering to light to medium loads. This easy-to-order starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames feature punchings on 2" centers for straightforward beam adjustment, effectively minimizing aisle growth and maximizing space efficiency. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frames and reinforced with two U safety pins for enhanced security and stability. The components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection and uniform layer thickness for durability against everyday wear in warehouse environments. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is suitable for hand loading medium to heavy loads across a variety of products, and multiple steel decks can be utilized to create a flat loading surface. Expanding the bulk rack system is easily achievable by ordering additional Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking. The assembly process is straightforward, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
