The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack add-on units are designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually, rather than on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each pre-configured unit includes one upright frame and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment, reducing aisle growth and optimizing space. Orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame using two U safety pins for added stability. The beams and uprights undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, offering advantages such as anti-corrosion protection, consistent layer thickness, and robust defense against wear and tear in a warehouse environment. The 22 gauge galvanized steel decking is designed for hand loading of medium to heavy loads with various products, and multiple steel decks span across the beams to create a flat loading surface. The assembly of these units is straightforward, and they are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI) for compliance with industry standards.
