The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually, suitable for light to medium loads. Each starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment, which helps to eliminate aisle growth and wasted space. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame with two U safety pins, enhancing security and stability. The beams and uprights undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and durability against everyday wear in the warehouse environment. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is designed for hand loading medium to heavy loads and allows for a variety of products. Multiple steel decks create a flat loading surface across the beam load. Expanding the bulk rack system can be easily achieved by ordering Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking. The assembly is straightforward, and all Interlake Mecalux bulk rack units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
