The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack add-on units are specifically designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each easy-to-order add-on unit includes one upright frame and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers, allowing for easy beam adjustment to eliminate down aisle growth and optimize space usage. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame using two U safety pins for enhanced security and stability. The components of the bulk rack, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, offering significant advantages such as anti-corrosion protection, consistent layer thickness, and robust protection against the wear and tear of warehouse conditions. The 22 GA galvanized steel decking is engineered for hand loading of medium to heavy loads across a diverse range of products, with multiple steel decks spanning the beam load to create a flat loading surface, ensuring easy and simple assembly. Additionally, the Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-on units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
