The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are specifically designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers, allowing for easy beam adjustment to minimize aisle growth and wasted space. Orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame using two U safety pins for added stability. The components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process that provides anti-corrosion protection and ensures an even layer thickness, enhancing durability against warehouse wear and tear. The 22-gauge galvanized steel decking supports medium to heavy loads and offers a flat loading surface across multiple steel decks. For system expansion, additional Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-on units with steel decking can be ordered. Assembly is straightforward, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
