The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are engineered for storage areas where goods are manually handled rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels, simplifying the ordering process. The bulk rack upright frames feature punched holes on 2" centers for easy beam adjustments, which helps to eliminate aisle growth and maximize space efficiency. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame with two U safety pins, providing additional stability. The components of the Interlake Mecalux bulk rack, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology that offers anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and enhanced durability against the wear and tear of a warehouse environment. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is designed for hand loading of medium to heavy products, with multiple steel decks spanning across the beams to create a flat loading surface. Extending the bulk rack system is straightforward by ordering additional Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking. The assembly process is easy, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
