The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack add-on units are tailored for storage areas where goods are manually handled rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each easy-to-order add-on unit includes one upright frame and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers, facilitating easy beam adjustment to optimize aisle space and reduce wasted area. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame with two U safety pins for enhanced stability. Constructed using a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, the bulk rack add-on components (beams and uprights) offer anti-corrosion protection, consistent layer thickness, and robust resistance to wear and tear typical of warehouse environments. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is engineered for hand loading medium to heavy loads across a variety of products, with multiple steel decks spanning the beam load to create a flat loading surface. The assembly process is straightforward, and these bulk rack add-on units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
