The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack add-on units are designed for storage areas where goods are manually handled rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each easy-to-order, pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers to facilitate beam adjustment, thereby eliminating down aisle growth and wasted space. The orange bulk rack beams are mounted to the frame and secured with two U safety pins for enhanced stability. The components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, which provides anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and durability against the wear and tear typical in warehouse environments. The 22-gauge galvanized steel decking is designed for hand loading of medium to heavy loads with various products, and multiple steel decks span across the beam load to offer a flat loading surface. The assembly process is straightforward, and the Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-on units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
