The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack add-on units are designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually rather than transported on a pallet, catering to light to medium loads. Each easy-to-order add-on unit includes one upright frame and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment, minimizing down aisle growth and wasted space. Orange bulk rack beams are mounted to the frame and secured with two U safety pins for enhanced stability. The add-on components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, which offers anti-corrosion protection, consistent layer thickness, and resistance to wear and tear in warehouse environments. The 22 GA galvanized steel decking is suitable for hand loading medium to heavy loads of various products, with multiple steel decks spanning the beam load for a flat loading surface. These units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI), ensuring compliance and reliability.
