The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually instead of being transported on a pallet, catering to light to medium loads. Each starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment, helping to eliminate down aisle growth and wasted space. The orange bulk rack beams are mounted to the frame and secured with two U safety pins for added security and stability. The components of the bulk rack (beams and uprights) undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, providing anti-corrosion protection, even layer thickness, and durability against the everyday wear and tear of a warehouse environment. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is designed for hand loading medium to heavy loads across a variety of products, with multiple steel decks spanning the beam load to create a flat loading surface. Expanding the length of the bulk rack system can be easily achieved by ordering Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking. The assembly process is straightforward, and the Interlake Mecalux bulk rack units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
