The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are specifically designed for manual handling of goods in storage areas, accommodating light to medium loads. Each starter unit consists of two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames feature punched holes on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment, minimizing aisle growth and optimizing space usage. The orange bulk rack beams are secured to the frame using two U safety pins for added security and stability. The beams and uprights utilize a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection and a uniform layer thickness that withstands the rigors of warehouse environments. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is capable of hand loading medium to heavy loads and allows for a variety of product storage. Multiple steel decks span across the beams, providing a flat loading surface. For further expansion of the bulk rack system, additional Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking can be easily ordered. The assembly process is straightforward, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
