The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are specifically designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each easy-to-order starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames feature punched holes on 2" centers for straightforward beam adjustment, which optimizes space and eliminates aisle growth. Orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame using two U safety pins for enhanced stability. The components (beams and uprights) undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection and ensuring even layer thickness along with durability against the warehouse environment. The 22 GA galvanized steel decking is suitable for hand loading medium to heavy loads across various products, providing a flat loading surface as multiple steel decks span the beam load. Expanding the bulk rack system is facilitated by ordering additional Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking, allowing for easy assembly. All Interlake Mecalux bulk rack units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
