The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are expertly engineered for storage areas where goods are manually handled rather than transported on pallets, accommodating light to medium loads. Each starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels, featuring bulk rack upright frames that are punched on 2" centers for straightforward beam adjustment, which helps eliminate down aisle growth and wasted space. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame and stabilized with two U safety pins. All components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and enhanced durability against everyday wear and tear in warehouse environments. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is specifically designed for hand loading of medium to heavy loads across a variety of products, providing a flat loading surface with multiple steel decks spanning the beam load. Extending the length of the bulk rack system is easy by ordering Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with additional steel decking. The units are straightforward to assemble and are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI) certified.
