The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually rather than being transported on a pallet, accommodating light to medium loads. Each starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment to eliminate down aisle growth and wasted space, while the orange bulk rack beams are mounted to the frame and secured with two U safety pins for added security and stability. The components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, providing anti-corrosion protection, consistent layer thickness, and robust protection against everyday wear in warehouse environments. The 22 ga galvanized steel decking is specifically designed for hand loading medium to heavy loads and can accommodate a variety of products, with multiple steel decks spanning across the beam load to create a flat loading surface.
