The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack starter units are specifically designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually, accommodating light to medium loads. Each easy-to-order starter unit includes two upright frames and three steel decking storage levels. The bulk rack upright frames are punched on 2-inch centers for easy beam adjustment, reducing down aisle growth and wasted space. The orange bulk rack beams are securely mounted to the frame with two U safety pins for enhanced stability. These components undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, which provides anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and robust resistance to wear and tear. The 22-gauge galvanized steel decking supports hand loading of medium to heavy loads with a variety of products and spans across the beams to create a flat loading surface. For expanded storage capacity, users can easily add to the bulk rack system by ordering Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-ons with steel decking. These units are straightforward to assemble and are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
