The pre-configured Interlake Mecalux bulk storage rack add-on units are specifically designed for storage areas where goods are handled manually, suitable for light to medium loads. Each unit includes one upright frame and three steel decking storage levels, making it easy to order and assemble. The upright frames are punched on 2" centers for convenient beam adjustment, reducing aisle growth and optimizing space. Orange bulk rack beams are secured to the frame with two U safety pins, ensuring added security and stability. The add-on components, including beams and uprights, undergo a cataphoresis paint process that utilizes electro-chemical technology to provide anti-corrosion protection, consistent layer thickness, and durability against wear and tear in warehouse environments. The 22-gauge galvanized steel decking is designed for hand loading medium to heavy loads and features multiple steel decks spanning across the beams to create a flat loading surface. Interlake Mecalux bulk rack add-on units are also certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
