Uniflow SE FM floor-mounted (walk-in) hoods are designed for synthesis and other rack-type operations where tall apparatus is utilized or equipment is rolled into the work area. These walk-in hoods come in standard or special sizes to accommodate various applications and feature a modular construction that allows for disassembly and on-site assembly. The superstructure is made of modular composite chemical-resistant FRP non-metal construction, and the interior fume chamber has a glass-smooth finish with a Vector Airstream baffle system and bell-shaped exhaust collar. The hoods are equipped with picture frame upper and lower sash openings, featuring counterbalanced sashes made of clear tempered safety glass with chemical-resistant PVC framing, track, and aerodynamic sash lift. Additionally, they include a vapor-proof LED light fixture and control switch wired to a single point junction box (115V/60Hz, AC), and all electrical components are U.L. listed. The fume hood is U.L. 1805 classified, and optional electrical services and variable air volume (VAV) systems are available.
