The Uniflow SE Airstream fume hoods are high efficiency, full duty fume hoods available in widths of 48", 60", 72", and 96". These hoods are engineered for energy savings and superior user protection, featuring an aerodynamic face opening with an airfoil that ensures uniform air flow throughout the fume chamber. Designed as a constant volume low flow hood, it incorporates a vector baffle system to direct air into the bell-shaped exhaust collar with minimal turbulence. Key features include an air bypass low flow constant air volume hood, dual wall unitized construction using non-metallic corrosion and fire-resistant composite fiberglass, and a molded one-piece fume chamber with a white glass-smooth surface and coved corners. The vertical sash is counterbalanced and made from 3/16" tempered safety glass, with a chemical-resistant non-metallic PVC framing track and aerodynamic sash lift. A sash stop is installed at the 1/2 open position. The hood comes equipped with an explosion-proof light fixture, compliant with Class I Div II Group A B C & D and Class II Div II Group F & G standards, operating at 115V/60Hz. The U.L. listed fixture is included but must be field wired to meet codes, and optional explosion-proof switches and receptacles are available.
