The ADC® AdView® 2 is designed for easy automated blood pressure measurements at the touch of a button, utilizing the oscillometric method to display pulse rate and mean arterial blood pressure in approximately 30 seconds. It accommodates patients ages three and older with seven cuff sizes, including standard Adult Plus and Large Adult Plus cuffs. Key features include clinical-grade Advantage™ BP technology from SunTech Medical, customizable BP averaging, manual mode for real-time verification, and pediatric mode. The device is powered by a lithium-ion battery for extended life and reduced weight, and it supports electronic data transfer with HL7 messaging, featuring built-in memory for up to 99 charting sessions and a user-friendly LCD display. Connectivity options include LAN/Ethernet and two USB ports. The BP base unit package includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a U.S. power cord, a 10-foot length of tubing, Adult Plus (28-40 cm) and Large Adult Plus (40-55 cm) cuffs, and a mini USB to USB cable, along with quick reference and quickstart guides. Additionally, an optional Covidien Filac™ 3000 thermometry module can be added for oral or axillary temperature readings in as little as four seconds, featuring both Fahrenheit and Celsius scales, a cold mode for lower ranges, and a built-in color-coded storage well for the probe. The temperature module package includes an oral/axillary probe and well (blue) along with a box of 20 probe covers.
