The ADC® AdView® 2 is an automated blood pressure measurement device that utilizes non-invasive oscillometric technology to deliver both pulse rate and mean arterial blood pressure readings in approximately 30 seconds. It accommodates a wide patient demographic, featuring seven cuff sizes ranging from child to thigh, with Adult Plus and Large Adult Plus cuffs included as standard. Key features of the device include clinical-grade Advantage™ BP technology from SunTech Medical, customizable BP averaging capabilities, a manual mode for real-time verification, and a pediatric mode for younger patients. The unit is powered by a lithium-ion battery for extended use and lightweight transport, network-enabled with HL7 messaging for data transfer, and includes built-in memory for up to 99 charting sessions. The user-friendly LCD display is complemented by connectivity options including LAN/Ethernet and two USB ports. The base unit package includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, U.S. power cord, 10-foot tubing, Adult Plus (28-40 cm) and Large Adult Plus (40-55 cm) cuffs, a mini USB to USB cable, a quick reference guide, and a quickstart guide. Additional modules can be added to the AdView® 2: a pulse oximetry module measures oxygen saturation in about 10 seconds, featuring a ChipOx Nellcor™-compatible SpO2 module with a reusable finger clip sensor and an 8-foot cable; an optional pediatric/multi-site sensor is available. The temperature module includes a Covidien Filac™ 3000 thermometry module for oral or axillary temperature readings in as little as four seconds, with both Fahrenheit and Celsius scales and a built-in color-coded display.
