The bariatric ADCUFF™ is specially designed for use with most manual sphygmomanometers and addresses the challenges of measuring blood pressure in severely obese or bariatric patients. This cuff accommodates limb circumferences from 44-66 cm, making it a cost-effective solution where large adult cuffs may be too small and thigh cuffs excessively wide. Its uniquely curved design ensures a secure fit on conically shaped upper arms, while the ADC's exclusive ADCUFF™ nylon material features the Size Guide™ marking system for accurate sizing. The custom-sized inflation bladder comes with one 50 cm and one 25 cm tube, both of which are not made from natural rubber latex. Additionally, it includes the ADFLOW™ oversized bulb and valve (#872LN) with filter screen protection, facilitating faster inflation. The ADCUFF™ is compatible with most aneroid or mercurial blood pressure instruments but is not suitable for non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) devices unless they offer a manual mode, such as the ADView 2 or E-SPHYG 2. A Luer connector (#891F) is also included in the inflation system (865 series). This product comes with a three-year warranty and meets or exceeds ANSI/AAMI/ISO 81060-1 standards.
