The values specified in the accompanying table assume a straight compressive load applied perpendicularly to the foot. It is important to note that bending and buckling stress factors that may occur in actual applications can diminish the load rating of the stud, requiring appropriate compensation. To determine the proper leveling mount size, one should divide the machine weight by the number of feet needed, resulting in the pounds or load per leveling foot.
